| The opening hole to the back 9 is a double dog-leg par five, reachable to the long hitters. The drive for most players is between the fairway bunkers, favoring the right side of the fairway. For you long-knockers, the best line is over the fairway bunkers on the left, leaving a long iron to the green. For the conventional player, the second shot is played over a large lake, which forces the player to lay-up towards the left side of the fairway. This will leave an approach shot over the large greenside bunker that protects the left side of the green. The putting surface is a simple, classical design with the slope playing from left to right. Staying below the hole will give the player the best chance at birdie. |
