In designing Brookside Country Club's 18-Hole Championship Golf Course, world famous golf course architect Robert Trent Jones, Jr. took bold steps to transform level land into a strongly contoured test of golf strategy and skill with a Scottish flavor nestled around fourteen lakes.

The par-72 course was designed for golfers of all ages and levels of play. Multiple tees vary the length of each hole, offering a fair test for all. According to Jones, Brookside has what every great course has, "a combination of strong golfing values and rich visual aesthetics.

"Brookside offers an extensive member-only practice facility including a well-groomed, two-tiered driving range, an expansive putting green and well-targeted chipping green. One of the best practice ranges and putting greens in Central California allows members to fine tune their game.

The full service golf shop offers members the finest in golf fashions and merchandise, as well as a professional staff to attend to your every need. For golfers looking to upgrade their game, we offer private lessons and group clinics.

Description

This opening hole is a medium length par four with a slight dogleg to the left. The ideal tee shot should be played down the right center of the fairway to avoid the large fairway bunker on the left, but not too far right to avoid the meandering fairway bunker on the right. This will give the player a good angle for their approach shot to the center of the green that is well protected by three greenside bunkers.
