Do not be fooled by the scorecard on this par three. The prevailing wind and the elevated green will make the tee shot play longer than the yardage indicates. Poorly struck tee shots will be swallowed by two large, deep bunkers that are difficult to recover from, therefore club selection is important in hitting this green. The putting surface has two distinct levels and slight slopes that will challenge all players.

Description
This dogleg left par five brings in the element of risk-reward and challenges the big hitters off the tee. The hole is protected by a large lake on the left and bunkers on the right of the fairway. Golfers must decide whether to gamble by playing close to the water’s edge, which will shorten the hole considerably, or stay down the right side where the hole will play much longer. The green is protected on the left by two large green side bunkers and the undulating surface can offer a variety of pin placements.

Description
This straightaway par four will play longer due to the prevailing wind and the uphill tee shot. Fairway bunkers on the left will catch errant tee shots and make par virtually impossible. Driving the ball in the fairway will give the player a mid to long iron shot to a green guarded by three “silver dollar” bunkers on the left as well as two larger bunkers both back left and right. The green is designed with a large swale in the middle portion, making par a good score on this hole.

The sixth hole is small in stature, big in shot value. The shorter par four features a large lake that protects the front and right edges of the green. The ideal tee shot should be played down the left side of the fairway avoiding the two fairway bunkers. Longer hitters may opt to drive the green, bringing the water into play. A short iron or even a pitch is the most likely play to the putting surface. Be aware of the two separate tiers, one upper right and one lower left.

The closing hole on the front side poses quite a challenge for players of all levels. Bunkers left and right define the narrow landing area off of the tee. The long approach shot to the green is slightly elevated, and accessible on the left hand side of the green, due to the greenside bunker protecting the putting surface. The green is sloped from back to front and can be quite slippery when the players ball is above the hole. Par is a great score on this challenging hole.

Description
The opening hole to the back 9 is a double dog-leg par five, reachable to the long hitters. The drive for most players is between the fairway bunkers, favoring the right side of the fairway. For you long-knockers, the best line is over the fairway bunkers on the left, leaving a long iron to the green. For the conventional player, the second shot is played over a large lake, which forces the player to lay-up towards the left side of the fairway. This will leave an approach shot over the large greenside bunker that protects the left side of the green. The putting surface is a simple, classical design with the slope playing from left to right. Staying below the hole will give the player the best chance at birdie.

The fourteenth hole is a slightly downhill par three that typically plays with the prevailing wind. Hitting this green is just the beginning on this challenging par three.

Hitting the fairway on this lengthy par four looks relatively simple from the tee, however the hour glass shape of the fairway, the large fairway bunker on the left, and the thick rough make this one of the toughest driving holes on the course. The optimum tee shot would be a line just inside the fairway bunker to give the player a good look at the hole. The approach shot will travel over two bunkers that appear to guard the putting surface, but in fact are well short of the green’s edge. This green has many tiers and will test every golfer who walks on the surface.

Description
“Double Trouble” is the nickname given to this par five that is guarded off the tee by a large lake and guarded on the approach shot to the green by another large lake. Off the tee, the player must decide how much of the lake to “bite off” or the safe route, just right of the lake. The second shot is best played well left of the green to steer clear of the second lake, but down the fairway far enough to give the player a good chance of clearing the water for their approach to the green. The putting surface offers a variety of pin positions with the toughest pins being well away from the water’s edge, due to the plateaus on both sides of the green.

This tremendous finishing hole will give the players a challenge from tee to green. The dog-leg left par five tees off over yet another lake on the left and fairway bunkers on the right. The second shot will be played towards a two-tiered fairway with a large lake along the left hand side of the fairway leaving the player with a short iron to an uphill green well protected by two large deep bunkers. The long putting surface slopes from back to front and has many slopes and can be very slippery when you are above the hole.
